As Christians it is vital that we are able to engage with the wider public moral debates as well as being involved in pastoral care within the faith-community and beyond.
In this course we begin to equip you with some tools for exploring contemporary ethical issues as well as some biblical approaches for pastoral care and to help you consider how these relate to your vocation and ministry. It is also designed to encourage you to grow in self-awareness and honesty about your own views and experiences and there will be an opportunity to learn good practice and skills in approaches to pastoral care and ethical issues.

The course is accessible to a wide range of people from those with no formal academic qualifications to post graduates.

The course is taught over 12 weeks, in 2 hour sessions by experienced Pastoral Tutors. Sessions are a mixture of taught input from the Tutors, group discussion and exercises. You may be asked to do some preparatory reading or thinking before a session.
